Snow, Snow and More Snow

Saturday 3rd March 2018

The Station

As you will see in the photo taken by Jo, this was on Thursday at the start of the snow fall. Also Broadway suffered with 40mph winds from Storm Emma we hope with no damage.
As the station site is closed today I have not been able to take any pictures.




Blast from the Past

We are now coming towards the end of Blast from the Past, having seen ground clearance through the station and cutting, installing the two platforms, building the signal box, putting in drainage and other facilities. Now we will look at building the Station.

Hopefully the station will be open on Monday and things will be back to normal.

    Well, very bad luck with the weather, but I suppose it was inevitable. Yes, it might get milder next week. Let's hope so.

    I can't blame you for cancelling today's show. It's bad down here in Cornwall, and we hardly EVER have snow!! We've got it NOW, and it's not much fun.
