The way we were!

Friday 25th December

Just a short message today to wish all our volunteers, supporters and readers, and their families, a Merry Christmas and a Happy and Prosperous New Year.

2015 at Broadway was marked by many milestones and successes and all the volunteers intend to carry on into 2016 as we finished 2015.  Your continuing support will help to make this happen.

To justify the title of the blog, a few photos to show what we had in 2009 and where we are now.

The view from the north end of the station looking south in 2009. There had been a few clearance parties but the BAG had now been formed and work would soon start in earnest.

Viewed from a similar standpoint on December 23rd 2015, this time from platform level instead of trackbed level as in the previous photo.

Looking north from the Toddington side of the Evesham Road bridge. It was worse than this when the first work party arrived on a thoroughly wet weekend in August 2007.

And below, the same view on Dec 23rd 2015. Transformed!
