I do think everyone is doing a grand job, which is much appreciated.<br />I noticed since the camera has been turned round, its looking more into the sun and when it was sunny yesterday it spoilt the vision and endanger of burning the lens, it would be better is the camera could look the other way, could be mounted in the trees. There are other reasons why bricks are drilled rather then the mortar, for example when a flat surface is required, also can crack the mortar, letting in moisture. I was trained to drill the brick where possible. In the olden days some bricks were very hard and with lack of modern drills, the mortar was used.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1845749777682346343.post-75026111841937761732016-01-19T11:21:23.590+00:002016-01-19T11:21:23.590+00:00I suppose all material for waiting room will be de...I suppose all material for waiting room will be delivered by rail when rails go down, is there going to be any room for storage of material once the station is openAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1845749777682346343.post-28644710638214393312016-01-19T00:19:11.559+00:002016-01-19T00:19:11.559+00:00That's interesting, I was expecting it to be t...That's interesting, I was expecting it to be the other way round due to access. You'd need a bigger crane to lift the steel over the main station building and footbridge otherwise. I was just trying to work out how long it would be before you could plug the gap in platform 1 in preparation for trains to come in.Leenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1845749777682346343.post-59250011355274333032016-01-17T17:21:58.985+00:002016-01-17T17:21:58.985+00:00Pleased to see the drilling into the mortar joints...Pleased to see the drilling into the mortar joints and not the Bricks.
