I'm sure it would be possible to scrounge up a few yards of track, too - it wouldn't have to be top quality.

With the essential stuff readily available 'from stock', as it were, the project could get off the ground quite cheaply. The biggest task would be building the platform itself, but as it was only a few wagons long even this wouldn't be a massive job.

I know it's been said that the containers don't matter, because nobody will see them - but I think that's a pretty flimsy argument. You could just as well argue that the interior of Broadway signal box doesn't matter, as nobody will see it. But it's still being meticulously recreated in the authentic style. Why not apply that same philosophy to the station as a whole?Michael Johnsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08386451061160258935noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1845749777682346343.post-62960424616722341072017-07-14T19:45:53.735+01:002017-07-14T19:45:53.735+01:00Will the internal plastering have rounded edges ar...Will the internal plastering have rounded edges around doors and window apertures? The problem as I see with the present containers' site, the containers can always be made to look like something else, but they do obscure the signal right by it

Steve Cherryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11690848806301527120noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1845749777682346343.post-65580326849656943332017-07-14T10:20:58.059+01:002017-07-14T10:20:58.059+01:00The infill portion is actually between 1 and 1a.

Now look at the place. Wonderful is a word that just doesn't do the work justice. Just in time for winter, you will be able to work in the dry; as you fit out the inside of the building. (Draw lots for working in the refresh - with the open fire to keep warm)! Regards, Paul.St Blazey 1925https://www.blogger.com/profile/16697444840076235191noreply@blogger.com
